These are some pictures of a painted pine kitchen we built in 2006

 made from solid pine with a pine carcass and painted in Buttermilk 

with solid oak block worktops

using customers own sink / taps

Worktops available in Walnut, Ash, Cherry, Iroko or Beech

You can tell if your worktop needs re-oiling with a simple test. If you drop some water on the surface and it forms a bead it is sealed. If you drop some water on the surface and it spreads, the worktop needs another coat of oil.
